As I Am 03:45
"AS I AM" OFFICIAL LYRICS VERSE I After all was said and done I always knew you were the one Your love was always best because Without you I was lost like a newborn cub Just hold me Console me Give me your all Not lonely I’m only Yours to call CHORUS Reach out and just give me something ‘Cause without you I’m nothing Trust me I say humbly You’re someone who really knows me We truly have something Boldly take me As I am VERSE II The moon, sun, and the stars above Will never conquer what we have in love So pure and special like a dove We were meant to be like hand and glove Just hold me Console me Give me your all Not lonely I’m only Yours to call [Chorus] BRIDGE Not even skies can limit us And even clouds are beneath us like the dust So let’s show the world our love Even if they push Or if they shove [Chorus] OUTRO Just hold me Console me Give me your all Not lonely I’m only Yours to call

"LOVE IS FOUND" OFFICIAL LYRICS VERSE I I came to rejoice and sing About all the joy you bring I did not expect to find Someone that I could call mine And now you’re found Turned my life around CHORUS Love is found Here and now So move to this sound We can touch The clouds And it does not Matter how VERSE II You were a special surprise My sunset is now sunrise Could not predict what this was But I guess that’s what love does And now you’re found Turned my life around [Chorus] BRIDGE Through the highs Through the lows Please don’t go I need you so Tell me yes Don’t say no I’ll hold you close Don’t let go [Chorus]
3.
"VIRTUE AND VICE" OFFICIAL LYRICS VERSE I Took me a while To come to realize Love is a virtue— It just solidifies We will not know If we just go by our eyes Lust is not love—it’s vice CHORUS I started to love Then, I had to think twice About what is virtue and what’s vice Not holding a grudge Not trying to misjudge The difference amongst what’s lust and love VERSE II Love at first sight Is not really love—not quite ‘Cause what we want now Will later lead to our plight We will not know If we just go by our eyes— Lust is only a vice [Chorus] BRIDGE Trust me—I want no more Than to just adore My cherie amour My heart and soul I would pour Into you galore A million times more But is this feeling Worth fighting for? [Chorus] OUTRO We’ll pay a price If we give into what’s vice ('Cause) Virtue’s a compromise

Noble Fool 04:16
"NOBLE FOOL" OFFICIAL LYRICS VERSE I The more I know The less I understand How you could treat me so Knowing I was your man Twelve months, six weeks I stood by your side But little did I know All you could do was lie I thought you had love for me But somehow now it can’t be found CHORUS And I know that someday When you are frail and gray Those walls you built will fall Though you once had it all And you break hearts Like you own all the cards To you, love’s just a tool You’re just a noble fool VERSE II A means to an end That was me all the while And, due to your ego We could not reconcile Tried and true That once depicted us But just like a corpse Our love returns to dust I thought you had love for me But somehow now it can’t be found [Chorus] BRIDGE Once, I thought our love was so legendary But the thought of falling in love was scary And just to simply try To find the reasons why What was meant for us Could’ve been endless love [Chorus]

about

"Tried and True" is the debut Extended Play (EP) by Céran and Samara, and the record features four original collaborative male-female vocal duets. Recording sessions for the EP took place in Céran's home studio and at 64111 Studio, both in Kansas City, Missouri, between January 2014 and July 2014. Self-released on September 16, 2014, the EP is essentially a Pop/R&B record with elements of post-disco, balladry, as well as others. Regarding the songwriting process, lyrical themes on the EP included Africana womanism, agape, amity, chastity, emotional turbulence, God-consciousness, heartbreak, introspection, love, nostalgia, optimism, spirituality, wistfulness, among others. In regard to the EP's commercial performance, streams accrued in all six of the habitable continents of the world for Céran's and Samara's debut EP including in countries such as Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, as well as domestically in the United States. Coloratura soprano and fellow Kansas City, Missouri-native, Samara Davis, lent her vocals alongside Céran's for the EP's four original recordings. Two promotional singles were released from the EP, among them, "Noble Fool" and "Love Is Found," with the former peaking at No. 10 on the Clap Charts App and the latter peaking within the Top 3.

Genres: Contemporary Christian music (CCM), Contemporary R&B, Folktronica, House, Pop, Post-disco, R&B, Soul, Vocal Duet

Total time: 14:50

“Easily the most danceable song on the album, “Love Is Found” operates on the soul-minded side of dance music. There are many different types of dance music, and “Love Is Found” will appeal to those who enjoy the deep house of the 1980s and 1990s (such as Jomanda, Adeva, Ten City or Chanelle) or the disco-soul of the late 1970s (as in Moment of Truth, Loleatta Holloway or Sylvester). “Love Is Found” is the type of dance music that has more in mind than simply providing a beat: it tells a story and emphasizes vocal personality.”

~Alex Henderson of Philadelphia, PA (Billboard, All Music Guide)

“Love Is Found” opens with an upbeat, dance melody with piano accompaniment and guest vocals by Samara. Céran and Samara are a good duo amidst the danceable sounds and keyboard effects. The vocals are all very clear throughout. Some of the dance accompaniment resembles horn sounds. Overall, Samara’s contributions to the track are very beneficial and not overbearing.”

~Matthew Forss of Omro, WI (Review You CD Reviews)

“Noble Fool” features Samara who does a wonderful job of adding a compliment to Céran’s sound. They work in tandem to create an atmospheric groove that is basic yet explorative and ultimately a ying and yang completion. This is easily my favorite song on the album because there is so much to hear and in turn, experience, due to both singers’ ability to elevate both the song and their performances by playing off each other."

~Charles Sweet of Stone Mountain in Greater Atlanta, GA (Review You CD Reviews)

"Noble Fool" begins with a little piano and ambient keyboard sounds before Céran's soulful voice leads the way. A guest singer, Samara, adds her vocal inflections into the mix with a little symphonic keyboard embellishments, and sporadic cymbals. About a minute-and-a-half into the song, a drum percussion beat joins both Céran's and Samara's vocals. Céran's voice channels the emotion of Boyz II Men with superb results overall."
