“Verity” is the full-length sophomore studio album by Céran. Recording sessions for the album took place in Céran's home studio and at Location One Building, both in Kansas City, Missouri, between November 2012 and July 2013. Commercially self-released on March 4, 2014, it is primarily a Pop/R&B album with additional infusions from a vast array of musical genres including, but not limited to, Reggae, French Chanson, Latin, Country, Rock 'n' roll, blues, and gospel. Upon its initial self-release to critics in 2013, the album went on to become Céran’s highest critical success to date—besting his previous release, and garnering an impressive rating of 4.5 stars (out of 5) from Omro, Wisconsin-based music critic Matthew Forss of “Review You CD Reviews,” in addition to a 3-star rating (out of 5) from Mount Vernon, New York-based music critic Jason Randall Smith, also of "Review You CD Reviews," with Smith comparing the spirit of Céran's vocals to Michael Jackson "at the peak of pop stardom" as well as subsequent comparisons to "Purple Rain"-era Prince from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based entertainment critic Alex Henderson (Billboard, All Music Guide).
